Who can Pray?
Everyone can pray. But everyone cannot feel His presence. Swavttik people can only feel Him in the final stage.
Shri Ramkrishna And Ramkrishna: 4 types of human beings according to qualities.
Nitya Jib ( human being): They are the most superior people. They have no desire or Kama. They are victorious over the sensational organ. They think nobody's or nothing is mine. I am doing my Swavttika karma( action) only. They also think God has given me a role to play. Also, it is not final. They work for the people. Think of others people good is their motto of life .
Bhaddhya Jib or Tamasik human beings:
They always think of their present world. They are busy with their family and others. They used to forget the God. Greedyness, cruelty, jealousy, violent mindset, dependence on lies and treacherous mentality are found in Tamasik people.
Mukta Jib or Free-minded people: These people live in the family but their mind is to God. They never forget the God.
Mumuskha Jiv: This class of people can tort the net of family life. Ramkrishna has given examples; Fish are People, God is Fisherman And the Net is Maya of Him :
The Fisherman throws a net into the pond to catch fish. Some fish tried to come out of the net, a few came out of the net and some goes into the mud with the net in their mouths. Some are outside the net.
Nitya Jivas are that fish which are outside the net. Mumukha Jivas are peopl which trying to tort the net.
Mukta Jivas are like such fish which are capable to tort the net or jumping out to get free. Bhaddha Jivas are like such fish who are in the mud with the net in their mouths.
Regarding Qualities, Nitya Jivas are Swavattik, Mumukhu and Mukta Jivas are Rajashik. But Bhaddhya Jivas are Tamasik .
Dried practices of prayer are less effective. Following rituals is not the only way of praying. Vab and Bhakti are also needed. Without Vab and Bhakti, you cannot attain the Goal. The goal is to feel Him everywhere.
Swavttik can get the way easily. Nitya Jiv is always on the road of God. Narada and Rama are examples of Swavttik people. Maya cannot attract them. They always think of the good of the others.
Prayer

Tamasik People's lives are centred around himself. Mind and Mind control did not matter to them. Anger, unlimited desire, cruelty, violent mindset, greediness and jealousy are the main features of their character. They cannot control themselves. Their action is based on the above Ripu. Ripu means sensational organs reaction. An action based on an uncontrolled sensational reaction is not desirable. No place for others in their life. They will first practice Vab or Bhakti. Prayer is a medium of spiritual connectivity with God. One day, Shri Ramakrishna was sitting on the Varranda and a man was going to mow the grass, Shri Ramkrishna screamed.
